Life's Not Fair Sometimes!

When my kids where young they would say "That's not fair!" and I'd tell them that life is not fair sometimes. Well this is one of those no fair times in my life. It's taken me a few days to build up the courage to post about this...but here goes.

HAIR !! I mean Facial Hair.

As we get older life should be very pleasant and non stressful,
we should not have to deal with all of this

Not only is hair growing at a very fast rate on my chin, under my chin, neck, and upper lip but two days ago I found a long white hair (at least 3") growing
out of the middle of my forehead!!
How long do you think it was there?
My husband said he never saw it but
like me he can't see anything even with glasses!

So talk about unfair just when you need to have great vision to find all those hairs that spring up daily...your vision goes, you can only see with a magnifying mirror...mine is X15. That's how I found the great white one!!
I'm a little less emotional after posting this - it always helps to talk to a friend! Thanks for being there and is anyone else having hair problems?
Warm wishes,

  2. Yup Esther we're at that age where our hormones are going nuts. Like they weren't always going nuts? Guess this is the grand finale!!! I've been plucking them for years now. There is an ad on TV I'm going to talk to my Dr. about called VANIQA. Go to vaniqa.com and take a look at it. Hope this helps brighten your day. LOL

  4. Oh dear...don't get wild like I did and bleach your eyebrows off in a fit...I got to plucking and pulling and dissolving and trimming and just got a little too overzealous with all the bleaches and creams and ...no more hair on the face...anywhere...*sigh* but the hair grows BACK...in silly places...one of the worse things I ever got was a 10x mirror, I was happier NOT seeing the hair all over...

  5. One of my friends had made fun of someone's chin hairs, so months later when I saw a long, single hair on her neck about 2" under her chin I just let it be. Mean. I know, but fair.

  6. This post is so funny and so timely!! Yep...happening to me as well. Every Sunday when we are on the way to church I ask hubby, "do you see any long hairs on my chin"...once in awhile he has to pluck one or two. Isn't he sweet?? LOL
I never understood why I would see women with those pesky long hairs on their chin. I thought goodness sakes can't they see them to pluck them off?? NOW I KNOW!! The eyesight goes about the same time. :)
    Blessings~

  7. LOL! Oh, I can so relate! I don't have any gray hairs on my head yet, but I have gray eyebrow hairs growing in. Do you know how hard it is to get one single gray hair out from amongst all the other black hairs? It's near impossible without pulling out a huge patch!

    Sigh . . .

    Blessings,
    Teresa
