Daylily "Tangerine Starburst"

I've belonged to a garden club for about a year now and early this week we went on a field trip to see a lovely garden.  I could not resist buying this beautiful daylily called "Tangerine Starburst".

These are more photos from this garden

I'm always amazed at how much can be planted on a small city lot!

We Have New Neighbors

The house in the back has been vacant for a long time maybe 15 years.  I was surprised when new folks moved in.  The mom and dad where very busy getting everything ready...I believe for a new baby!

Yes there are babies and now the mother is very busy feeding them
she is really a good mother.

I sit on my back porch and hear the little birds chirp !

My Garden June 2012

I've been working so hard in my garden this year and want to share photos of the beautiful flowers blooming now in June.  This first group is in the front of my house...as you can see I live in the city so neighbors are very close.  I've planted two flower boxes with  a lot of pink flowers  and that beautiful sweet potato vine.  The hanging  baskets where bought at a nursery and were only $10.00 each!  Love getting a bargain!

Most of these photos are in the front of my home also.  That clematis has been growing along side the house for about 10 years and it just keeps blooming!

I made the "Tipsy Pot" tower a few years ago and had it in the back yard but decided to bring it to the front this year and filled it with succulents.  Succulents are great in these pots since they dry out so quickly.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my flowers I have lots more pics to show you.

Nags Head, N.C.

After spending a few days with my son and his family we headed to Nags Head.  This was the last full week in April so the weather was a little cool but when the sun shined it warmed up.  We rented a motel room right on the beach and enjoyed the week just relaxing!

Yes that sun did shine and here we are the happy couple!

This is the motel we stayed in...not too fancy but
it was right on the beach who could ask for more!

We mostly had the whole beach to ourselves

That's me enjoying the sun and sand!

While the beaches where deserted the streets where filled
with motorcycles...it was Outter Banks bike week
which made my husband very happy!

Oh yes that is the "BAD" dude I'm married to...
isn't he cute!

I've more photos to share soon.

Hello, Hello....is anyone there?

Yes I'm here!! I've not been blogging for a while...even thought about closing down my blog...then decided where else could I show all my photos!  A lot has happened the last 2 1/2 months (OMG).

We went to my grandson Nathan's birthday party in North Carolina, then we went to Nags Head for a week and of course I've been working really hard in my garden.

My gandson's birthday party was at the Great Wolf Lodge this place is amazing and huge!  There are rooms to spend the night or week with a indoor waterpark.  I've lead a sheltered life since I'd never been to an indoor waterpark before!

Nathan's the sweet boy in the middle it is hard to believe
he is now 7 years old.

Yes this place is certainly meant for kids and they did have a wonderful time!
