Fertilizer Friday

Tooties at Tooties Time is hosting Fertilizer Friday she has the most amazing garden so visit her blog and take a peek! This year my husband wanted to plant some tomatoes and a few other things but we had never planted this area it was all grass. Thankfully a dear neighbor took up all the sod, turned over the dirt and then used his rotatiller and gave us this wonderful garden area.

This is the last blooms of this clematis and the following pink and white one.

It really amazes me how much time it takes to keep the flower beds presentable with such a small garden. Here I trimmed back my forsythia bush it grows like a bad weed

This is the side yard see how close the house is next door on the left. That's our garage in the back with the ivy gowing on it. We're lucky to have a lot and a half or I would have not flowers.

Thanks everyone for stopping by today I always love your comments.

Warm wishes,

  7. Esther everything looks beautiful. I love the bright pink Clematis - but I'm a sucker for Clematis anyway!

  8. Everything looks beautiful. I have a large lot, but not much sun so I know what you mean about limited gardening space. I have oak trees everywhere - not complaining though, because they provide nice shade in the southern heat too!

  9. Beautiful blooms!!! My forsythia had a run in with a cow. It is going to come back but I think I will move it somewhere else. They do grow really big and you are constantly pruning them! Mine was pruned into a tree form and it was pretty fun until a cow came and broke it off at the ground. Oh well. I think I like the area better without it anyhow! (-: Happy FF to you!!!!
