A stomach flu took over my life for a while this week and it has not been fun. Seems like the worse is over..so I've spent some time surfing tonight and found this give away. It is at Laurel Plum Online blog. I have not had time to check out the whole blog but it seems very intersting. Hope you enjoy!

Happy St Patrick's Day
Today was a glorious day...bright sunshine and temps in the 60's. While wearing my green I went shopping with lots of looking in Lowes and WalMart. Then this afternoon I did some cleaning up in my garden. I know it will get cold again but today I enjoyed the warm weather
and dreamed of spring flowers!!

Happy Birthday Phyllis!
Pyllis is having a Slumber Party to celebrate her 46th birthday! There is a whole bunch of us going to help her celebrate. Check it out!!
While visiting Four Sisters in a Cottage blog, Amy posted about a free offer from Victoria's Secret.
So I stopped at the local store and got this for free! The perfect bag to put all my goodies in for the slumber party and it is pink!!
And this beautiful white flannel night gown and the model even has red hair like me but she does appear a lot younger!
These slippers are all made by Warm Whiskers and they can be put into the mircowave to heat to make your feet warm. I found them here.

There was nothing else that was appropriate for the slumber party at Victoria's Secret but I did find these wonderful things on the internet.
A pink satin sleeping cap to keep my hair nice while I sleep. Ha, ha like we're going to sleep!

Then I found these snuggly pink bunny slippers, my gosh they are so sweet!

Then I grabbed my favorite quilt and this doll Lucy and stuffed them into my pink bag.
Now I have to get these guys ready to go. OMG have you ever seen anything so cute! Found these penguins on line (where else) at Once Upon a Plate blog. There are lots of place on the internet to get the recipe like here.
Felix said he's too tired to go anywhere he was out all day yesterday and he is very, very sleepy.

Pink Saturday
It was a beautiful day Friday temps in the 50's sun shining! My friend Joan and I spent the day at the Home & Garden Show in Pittsburgh Convention Center. Did lots of walking but we sure did have a wonderful time. Of courses we always enjoy each others company! Thought I'd show you some photos I took beware not all of them are pink, but I think you will enjoy them especially the flowers. The first photo is of a PINK double begonias, they look like little roses.
Very pretty!
Starting to look a lot like spring!
These rooms are a little too modern for me...where is the "Shabby".
Good thing the chair covered that boy up!!
Can you see the naked lady in the shower?
I do like this hanging light -- it's huge.
Lucky dog - that's just the way I felt at the end of the day!!
Hope you liked the photos of my Friday.
Now I'm going to stop over to Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound and check out what pink stuff the other participants are sharing today. Bye for now...please have a wonderful weekend!
