Learning to Fly

 While weeding my garden yesterday I found this little guy!

He is just so sweet and just learning to fly!

I believe he is a cardinal his daddy sure was looking after him.

You know I sure love the birds but they do make a mess in my yard!

Some more flowers.. this is a perennial geranium and it blooms most of the summer.

These are lily of the valley from my mothers yard.

She had a giant patch of these under a big old tree.

Wonder if they are still there or if the guy who bought her house got rid of them.

I should know the name of these but can not remember it.

Hate being old and forgetful!

I'm not sure what happened to the last two photos they are out of focus for some reason.  That white flower is a clematis.

Some Photos of My Garden

 Finally there are a few flowers blooming in my garden.

This red bird was so beautiful....I really didn't realize that I had gotten the picture until I put in on the computer and resized it.  Sorry it is a little blurry.  I got a new cannon camera in November and I'm still learning how to use it. 

It has been so cold here since this weekend in the 50's...that's cold!!  Been going into the 30's at night freeze warnings!
