I never considered myself a lucky person but since I've started blogging my luck has changed! I've been blessed with winning many giveaways but this last one is really specially. A handmade Sterling Silver and Rhodolite Garnet Bracelet arrived this week in the mail and it is beautiful! Since it was a giveaway on PINK Saturday I thought sharing today would be perfect.
If you have not visited Nancy at her blog Gracie Jewellery you should do so today! Her blog is delightful and she makes the most beautiful jewelry much like the above bracelet that I won! Hope everyone is having a sunny PINK Saturday.

"I is for Irish"
Yes I'm Irish but my family never really celebrated St Patrick's Day while I was growing up. Today I don't celebrate the way some of my Irish friends do but I do honor my heritage. Hopefully some day I'll get visit Ireland. I find Irish music very entertaining and love the song When Irish Eyes Are Smiling.
The lyrics to When Irish Eyes Are Smiling were written by Chauncey Olcott and George Graff, Jr. and set to the music of Enerst Ball for Olcott's production of The Isle O' Dreams. The music was published in 1912.
The letter for the day is "I" over at Alphabe-Thursday you should be sure and visit Jenny's blog to see what everyone is posting about.

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling
There's a tear in your eye,
And I'm wondering why,
For it never should be there at all.
With such pow'r in your smile,
Sure a stone you'd beguile,
So there's never a teardrop should fall.
When your sweet lilting laughter's
Like some fairy song,
And your eyes twinkle bright as can be;
You should laugh all the while
And all other times smile,
And now, smile a smile for me.
When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And when Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away.

Where Have I Been?
Yes where have I been? Good questions! Every day seems to be joined to the next with not a thing exciting happening. I keep thinking there has to be something useful I could be doing..instead of reading, hopping around on the internet, watching TV..well you get the picture. There is not one little bit of motivation in this body and soul of mine!
So I've decided not to beat myself up about being lazy and just go with the flow...spring is coming! Here are some wonderful photos found on google.
