Rain Lots of Rain
Today it is raining and it rained yesterday it's positively wonderful! We need the rain the flowers and weed love it. Here are photos looking out my front door.
I love to sit on the back patio and listen to the rain on the metal awnings. It really is a great relief from all the hot, humid, hazy weather we have had.
With the cooler weather I decided to make something special for dinner (needs to bake in oven) and made this recipe from my pinterest recipe board Tortellini Bake.
Believe me it is delicious! My husband liked it and it is even better the next day. Just like cell phones how did we ever live without pinterest?
Warm hugs,

Playing In The Dirt!
Earth laughs in flowers. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
It was such
a beautiful day with the sun shining bright and warm!
So I spent the day playing in the dirt!
See how bright the sun was ... here is my shadow!
These are some photos of my garden it is looking a little sad.
I did do a lot of clean up
A few daffodils are blooming!
This is in the front of my house
I do have alot of wild onions and I do hate them
they are so hard to get rid of
Found a box of daffodil bulbs I didn't plant last fall
put them in this planter...hope they bloom
then I'll plant them in the garden
Bought this cement planter at a garage sale last summer
More of that darn wild onion
They are hard to see but there are hundreds of
Rose of Sharon start ups
To me Rose of Sharon is like a bad weed!
I've even trim the bushes so they don't bloom but of course
they still do...then drop their seeds and all
these little starter pop up everywhere!
This is the very shady side of the house there is a bleeding heart
and ferns here - I'll be sure and show it to you
when they bloom!
I really only have a very small yard but it sure takes a lot of time
to keep up with all the garden stuff !
Found these on the Better Homes and Garden web site
they are Sombrero coneflowers WOW they are really beautiful!

Share Your Pins Sunday #1
There are a few pin that are special this week. First this one from Vintage Garden Gal and shows a herb garden in wine barrels. Very clever idea!
These lupines are beautiful! I imagine this to be in England with a fire in the fireplace and tea and scones set on the little table in front and I'm waiting for a friend to enjoy!
I'm having so much fun Pinning things on Pinterest that I thought I'd do a blog party every Sunday and we can all share our favorite pins!

This Weeks Favorite "PIN" Find!
I'm fairly new to Pinterest
only been doing "PINS" for a couple weeks but there is some really amazing stuff out there in blog land! Pinterest is really addictive... it pulls you right in and before you know it you have spent hours going from pin to pin. My favorite "PIN" this week is from ... Suzy Homefaker she has some interesting recycled planter ideas.
There are lot more ideas on her blog!
