PINK Saturday

It's been awhile since I've posted anything and it just kept getting harder to post. I even thought about not blogging any more. Well a PINK Saturday post just seems what I need to get started again! First let me wish everyone a Happy New Year! This is my mantle decorated for Christmas.  I know Christmas is way over but there is some pretty pink here.

I just love the handpainted rose floral plate in the center.

This little snow angel is the last needle felting I've done.

I'm MIA for a few week and they go and change how to do post here on blogger!

Just a reminder to stop over at Bev's blog How Sweet the Sound and visit other PINK participants. Wish everyone a wonderful PINK weekend!

Warm hugs,

Organized clutter!!

Yesterday I was getting my website ready for the upcoming Christmas Carnival on SaturdayNovember 28th which I'm participating in. Last night about 1 AM I was working on my needle felted Angel Snowman for my giveaway and needed some blue ribbon...it has to be here some where!

Maybe it's in one of the bins - sitting here at my computer I see 4 plastic bins and don't really know what's in any of them except stuff for crafts, Ebay, personal?

Pulled all of this out of the green bin (my favorite way of organizing)
no blue ribbon in there!

More clear plastic bins!

Maybe I bought some at Big Lots

More clear bins

Pretty boxes for ribbon storage

Here's a bag from the church thirft store - everything was 1/2 price paid $1.25 for all these treasures!

Never did find any blue ribbon but I'm really frustrated and unhappy about my cluttered Shabby Cottage. This isn't something that just happened recently but the clutter had gotten much worse since selling on Ebay (inventory!), blogging and my re-interest in crafting.
So today I decided to clean up around here and started a new blog
DeCluttering Our Shabby Cottage

I know something else to take up my time but I'm hoping this will hold me accountable and keep me on track.

So I'd better hurry up and finish my Angel Snowman!

PINK Needle Felted Angel

Happy PINK Saturday!

Just finished needle felting this sweet PINK Angel. She is on her way to a new home in Canada! Hope her new owner loves her as much as I do!! She's holding a bouquet of vintage glass balls and has a halo of twisted wire other than that she's all needle felted with wool.

There are lots of participant over at Bev's at How Sweet the Sound don't foreget to visit them also.

Warm hugs,

I'm having such a great time researching blogging! The best thing I've found is other women who have great blogs - it's really opened up a whole new world to me! Yesterday I was going to post to my blog but started looking at other blogs and before I knew it hours had passed. Just kept jumping from one favorite site to another! One thing I did learn is to always write down a site address when you find it because if you click out you may never be able to find it again. One site I found is http://siggiez.com/index.cgi the 36 Days Until Christmas came from there, they have a color chart with every color imaginable to use in your blog and lots of other tools.

Well I did have some time to take some pictures for my Ebay store .

These little dwarfs / elves are so cute!

Five 2 1/2" Sweet beaded Angels. The blue Angel is made with safety pins.
