Vintage Ornament Wreath

I've been wanting one of these wreaths for years but they are really expensive. Finally this week I made this wreath out of vintage ornaments from estate and garage sale.  I'm really please with how it turned out!

Maybe next year I'll make some to sell on Ebay....what do you think?

More Estate Sales Finds

Yes I'm still shopping the sales looking for great treasures!  Here are a few I've found recently.

This is a Disney Pooh Bear and Piglet night light perfect for the nursery.

This round Christmas tablecloth is very pretty!

A pink milk glass cake plate made by Jennette Glass.
It is a very soft pink. Beautiful!

I did a lot of research on this Micky Christmas ornament but could not find one like it.
It did sale for $25.00 in one day!

Very cute Christmas figurines made in Japan.

These are sweet chalk ware babies to hang on wall.

Always buy chenille bedspreads they sell really well.
This one sold in a couple hours for $42.00.
When things sell quickly I know the price could have been higher.

I need to take more photos there is lots and lots to show you!

More Vintage Finds

Yes I've been shopping again and all of these tablecloths are vintage but never used! I always get excited with finding vintage textiles.
There are 6 of these sheer organza napkins
each has an embroidered design in one corner with a rose.
Perfect for a tea party!

Lovely linen tablecloth with 6 match napkins.
Shabby cottage pink!

This tablecloth still has the original tag made by Martex.

Another never used.

I love this teapot!  It's old but there are not markings on the bottom.
This is the only thing I bought this weekend the rest was in my stash!

Never used Christmas tablecloth.

I'm gathering up lots of treasures to list on Ebay.  It really is just a bit over whelming...I must keep a  positive attitude...I will get this done!

Until Next Christmas

The only good thing about not decorating too much... it's easy to take down!  Here are some pics of our Christmas tree the only decoration I put up two days before Christmas.

Most of these ornaments where picked up at estate or garage sales.  Those two Santas I got at craft shows.

For many years I collected Santas and have many bins in the basement filled with that collections but have not put them out for years. I think it's time to gift those to my children!

"D" is for Dirt & a Vintage Thingie

It's Alphabe-Thursday over at Jenny's blog  and todays letter is "D".  I looked all through my photos and could have picked dog, donut, dumb, daughter..just about any "D" word
but I found this photo and knew it had to be dirt!!

Oh my this is my sweet husband and it looks like he got mixed up in a coal bin!
Isn't he good looking! He would not be too happy if he knew I put this on my blog!

I think this would work for Vintage Thingie Thursday at Suzanne's - Colorado Lady he is rather old vintage!

Vintage Christmas Monday!

Found these cute elf wall hanging at a garage sale (where else!). I think it's very sweet.

Always looking for these vintage mercury glass garlands.

I think about the people who sat around the table with this tablecloth on it.
A wonderful Christmas tablecloth with bright colors!

I've been debating if I should make a wreath with all these vintage Santas.
What do you think?

You must visit Joan at Anything Goes Here to find all the other participants. Only one more Monday before the BIG day!
