Very Pretty PINK Things

I know we all love PINK!  Found these treasures at an Estate sale and just wanted to share.

This pink and white swirl vase is about 5" tall and
there are no markings on it.
Isn't it beautiful?

Now I love roses and could not resist these two
needlepoint rose pictures framed under glass.

I will be putting these up for auction on Ebay.

I'm joining these link parties:

Have a wonderful and fun weekend!

It's PINK Saturday Again!!

This time of year I love to snuggle under blankets and throws and just keep warm. While I'm all warm and cozy it's time to read and watch TV usually both at the same time! Drives my husband crazy! I must get my lazy self out of the house..so tomorrow I'm going to hit some estate sales there are 4 listed in the paper plus one garage sale.  Hopefully there will be some wonderful treasures to show you!

While keeping warm I've also been dreaming of my garden and flowers.  There have been a few cataloges and a Home & Gardens Gardening Magazine delivered recently.  So many beautiful flowers and it's so hard to decide which I want to have in the garden!  I did find the Pink Superstore and they have all kinds of pink stuff for the garden. I think this is sweet

Here is some pink roses, clematis from my garden last year..it's time to dream!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Pink Saturday.  Visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for a list of all the participants today.

PINK Saturday

It's hard for me to believe that PINK Saturday is here! I've decided that I'm going to put in lots of pink impatients this year and some white ones. A lot of my yard is in the shade most of the day and impatients do very well and are so cheerful!

This beautiful rose is from a bush that was already in the yard when we bought the house and it's still going great!

I love this clematis but it didn't do very well last year hopefully it will do better this year.

This is a woolly lamb that I've needle felted. Poking the wool hundreds of times with a needle is a great stress reliever! I think she turned out kinda cute. I have many more things I've needle felted recently and will start putting them on here for you to see.

Since my husband Jim's illness we are home together every day and my life so different - I'm sure there are other words I could use but yes everything is different!! If I go out he goes with me, if he needs to go some where I go with him because he is not driving yet. He had a heart catheter on Tuesday and oh what a stressful day that was. His appointment was at 10:00 am and they didn't take him in until 3:15 so we didn't leave the hospital until almost 9:00. His arteries are clean, his heart is still pumping at 20% and his blood pressure is very high and the Doc wants him to have a defibrillator put in. Jim is not sure he want one put in..he want another opinion so now we wait for another appointment.

Please visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to visit other PINK blogs!

Today was a sunny day here in Pittsburgh. A little cool this morning but it warmed into the high sixties this afternoon. I decided to work in the yard this afternoon and believe me there is a lot of work to do. This first box was delivered a few days ago from QVC inside are 3 clematis plants. QVC makes it much to easy to order and sometimes I'm very good at it. But their guarantee is very good! Then today I received an email telling me 10 begonia bulbs, 2 climbing rose bushes and 2 wisteria plants where shipped!!

Now this box came a few weeks ago from Michigan Bulb company. I've never order from them before but everything looked lovely in the catalogue. There are lots of plants in this box. Those white bags have 3 bare root plants in each! Some of the plants are: Hardy Tall Phlox, Mixed Lupines, Mixed Foxglove, there is a Butterfly & Hummingbird Garden, and a Hot Spot Garden.
I did get some planted today but it will take some time to get them all in the ground.

This next photo is of the little garden space off my back patio it sure looks sad. I should paint the fence this year and that wall could use some fixing.

Some more fence and my back patio. Lots of cleaning, painting and fixing up to do here.

I bought this arbor about a month and it's been here killing the grass! Another project that needs done before those climbing roses get here.

I did plant some daffodils a few weeks ago they were 1/2 price at Walmart.
It's always nice to plant the bulbs when blooming then I know where they are.

This part of the garden has been in for 2 years. Still needs lots of work. That shrub on the left is a knock out rose it sure is pretty and blooms all summer. I'm putting markers in for all the new plants so I know what they are or get my money back if they don't come up.
That pine tree is my neighbors and makes a big mess to clean up plus makes too much shade.

Thanks to everyone who sent wishes for my husband Jim's quick recovery. He came home on Monday and feels some what better but it will take time to build up his strength. He is now on six different medications and who knows what that may be doing to his system.
Warm wishes for a wonderful weekend!
