While everyone is posting about their wonderful fall decorations and crafts (which I love) I'm showing you my garden art the only craft I've made this year. I've always wanted to make one of those mosaic bowling balls for my yard. Well after Christmas I found these two plastic huge ornaments and decided to make them into yard art. I think it turned out pretty good! Still have to make the other one and yes I do have a bowling ball somewhere in the house waiting to be decorated!
Warm hugs,
Here is a photo from the trip I made to Lowes looking for fall flowers.

Warm hugs,
What a brilliant idea! I'm going to have to steal it next spring. What kind of weather-proof "stickim" did you use on these balls?
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I'll be looking for your Thanksgiving post next month.
Hey, that's a good idea for bowling balls. I always buy vintage bowling bags, because they sell pretty well, but most of them come with the balls and I never knew what to do with them. I love mosaic art, so I think I might try that...when I find the time, that is. Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteOooh... I love the mosaic textured looking glass ball! How lovely! Where does it 'live' in your garden? What a wonderful idea! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
